Valea Perjei - the first partner-locality of the “MĂ IMPLIC” project, which signed the Grant Agreement

Under the agreement, the municipality receives funding of up to 65,000 Swiss francs, with the rest of the needs being covered from its own resources. As a result, the municipality can purchase the necessary equipment to carry out the project to improve the municipal solid waste management service from the locality.

We remind you that Valea Perjei municipality, together with the service operator and the citizens continue to make joint efforts to improve the communal solid waste management service in the locality, with the support of the Mă Implic – Project of civic involvement in local government.

In addition to financial support, the beneficiary receives consultancy and capacity-building services. The “MĂ IMPLIC” project helps the municipality and the service provider not only to improve the infrastructure but also to develop long-term approaches to keep this infrastructure in good shape and to have sustainable models for financing the provision of services. In our work, we ensure that local citizens, LPA employees, NGOs, businesses are actively involved in modernizing community services in the community and especially that the less advantaged have equal access to these services.

The project is funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and implemented by SKAT Consulting.
