The volunteers team from Sudarca commune, together with the Community Initiative Team visited Fălești and Sărata Veche. The purpose of the visit was to inform and strengthen the capacities of the teams in the field of solid waste management and create partnerships between volunteer teams from these localities.
Over 16 participants returned home impressed by what they found, they brought many new ideas and good practices. They also learned about the possible risks, which will certainly be taken into account. The members of the “Sudarca” Community Initiative Team and the “Viitorul” Volunteer Team are very optimistic, and as a result of the visit they are even more determined to get involved more actively in the project of creating the solid waste collection service in the locality. Especially in carrying out a campaign to educate residents in the field of selective waste collection.
The activity was organized with the support of the MĂ IMPLIC project, within the project of improving the communal solid waste collection service in Sudarca commune. The project is funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and implemented by SKAT Consulting. Following the signed agreement, the municipality benefits from funding (maximum CHF 65,000), consulting and capacity building services.
